Nothing to buy at handover
Fully comprehensive insurance is inside every daily rate. There is no excess waiver to buy, no upgrade offered while you sign, and no third package that appears once your card is out.
Why the search term exists at all
Because the standard Spanish airport rental is priced twice. Once online, where it looks cheap, and once at the counter, where the excess on a 1 200 € cover is explained to you by someone paid to sell the waiver. That second price is the one people remember.
Our rate is the rate. The only extras that exist are delivery, an additional driver, and a possible surcharge for arrivals between 22:00 and 06:00.
What the cover does and does not do
Covered
Collision damage, third-party liability, theft, fire, glass and roadside assistance across mainland Spain.
Not covered
Driving off a paved road, an unnamed driver at the wheel, alcohol, track use, ferries and the interior. Traffic fines stay with the driver.
